Mrs. (Ellen/Elna) Chilberg moved, marrying Fred Rossing and they had three daughters:
Jessolin, living in Walla Walla Washington;
Lillian, married to Charles DeKrey of Pettibone, N. D. She passed away in 1936 and is buried in the cemetery about 6-7 miles south of Pettibone — known as the DeKrey church.
Winnifred born in 1900. She passed away in 1960 and is buried in the Pettibone Cemetery.

Among the living descendants of Axel Chilberg are; Dorothy Hoster (Pfusch) of Valley City and her son James of Whitefish, Montana and a her brother Don Hoster of Pasadena, Calif.

The only other living daughter of Axel and (Elna) Ellena is Edith (Edie-Eda) living In Hemet, CA. She has two sons, Leslie and Robert, both living in California.

This history has been compiled by Earl. H. Kruschwitz, husband of Grace Eda Vae Nelson Kruschwitz. Vae is a granddaughter of Axel Chilberg.

Vae and her husband Earl have four daughters:
Joan Kathleen is married to John Ostlie and lives in Moorhead, Minn.
Mary Vae is married to Ron Legler and lives in Madison Wis.
Beth Dianne married LeRoy Pawluk and live in Beloit, Wis.
Debby (Debborah) lives with her parents in Valley City. She begins college in Sept.

Vae and Earl Kruschwitz have retired from teaching careers; Vae 34 years, of which 20 were in the Sanborn, ND. school district. Earl completed 30 years of teaching in 1968. He was Disaster Services Coordinator for Barnes Count and Valley City from 1968 to 1974 at which time he retired from that position. As earlier stated, they reside at their residence at 431 6th Street Southwest in Valley City.
