In 1910, his wife, Ellen Rhinehart is head of household with all the children (and then some). The lack of a father may have made early childhood for William Lafayette (Uncle Bill) difficult as he was reportedly a handful at an early age.

A George W Rhinehart is buried at Holy Cross Colma cemetery, stating burial date May 25, 1918, but he is not buried with wife, Ellen Rhinehart (died 1950) also there.

Ellen Coughlan Geary remarried following death of Timothy Geary (died in 1891) and married Rhinehart and had three children: Myrtle (not to be confused with Myrtle Granucci - Hoster), George, and Willian (Uncle Bill).
