Born Livia Louise Muzio in San Francisco, her father farmed vegetables w/in the City limits. Her mother's maiden name was Longinotti. She had seven brothers and sisters, thre of whom, in addition to Livia, made it to advanced age: Fred Muzio, Anita Muzio and the baby of the family, Herbert Muzio. Herb served in the San Francisco fire department for many years. Livia had two children: Frank and Norma. Frank married Lucille Aston and Norma married Alfred Maffei.
