Once upon a time, there were two lonely male frogs. Don Hoster conjured up a plan to do something about that. Newspapers in the 50’s really seemed to enjoy these stories, and he had plenty of friends in the business always looking for a human-interest story.
And then there was his experiment with the arts. Not everyone saw it the way Don did.
Don Hoster was a staff photographer, and usually tagged along whenever the reporters went out on a story. There were, however, times when the crews put together stories that filled columns and kept the editors pleased.
