In Los Angeles had an accident and face was burned badly. Returned to Villa Viani (via Genova) on the Conte Di Savola 30 Oct 1937 accompanied by her husband Luigi (Louis) Viani (father of Joseph Louis Viani) to be near her brother. Died in 1941 in Villa Viani (attributed to a seizure while gardening which caused her to "drown" in a plant basin) and is buried there.
