Note

Priest for 50 years in Cosio D'Arroscia, province of Imperia, up the road from Pontedassio.

His residence was connected with the church sacristy by a small window near the ceiling. His sister, Anna Maria Viani, was his housekeeper would monitor the progress of mass in order to determine when to prepare ingredients for the meal (i.e. when to put on the pasta).

He finished his priestly duties by being the priest in Villa Guardia (very near to Villa Viani). He spent 3 years in that role, died, and is buried in Villa Viani Cemetery.
