5/27/1925 Postcard from “Brother Bill” - Addressed to Mr. Walter Hermann, 5838 California St., San Francisco, Calif. The card was a souvenir of the Panama Pacific Liner “Mongolia” upon which relatives of Walter Hermann sailed from San Francisco through the Panama Canal to New York. Text: “Dear Walter, Arrived in Ne York today after a very hot trip.” Signed, Ma & Dad (referring to Conrad Hermann (?). Inside the card were dates of various ports of call, and inscribed “From Brother Bill.”
