Kate Stahl Ingalls m. Charles Ingalls and had two boys. After her husband died, she and her sister Mary lived in Southeast Minneapolis.
Mary Stahl, two pictures of her one as a young woman and the second as a very distinguished older woman.

"Mary Stahl, my father's sister was the educator of the family, never married. She was very active in the educational life of the city of Minneapolis - was principal of two elementary schools in the city. "19
"I ( in S.E. Minneapolis) knew these two fine people well as I lived with them at various times. Aunt Mamie as she was called was a very intelligent woman and made it.

The pattern of her life to look out for not only the family but others who needed her. The whole family was religious true Christians I imagine one would say - and made it their rule of life."

The Stahls = a special note to people I loved in my youth. I often think of these beautify people who were so a part of my early life under six years. They made a great impression on us younger children in the family. Aunt Mary Stahl the education of the family took four young people, three boys and one girl cousins in High School and college and kept them in her home. My brother was one of them after we went to Montana. The cousins Katherine Barnett, she financed thou college.19
